BRIAN KOMODOWSKI Peacefully, on January 23, 2004 Brian Komodowski passed away at home in Lorette at the age of 69. Brian was born October 14, 1934 in Cooks Creek, MB. He attended Zora School till grade nine. He was a member of St. Michaels Church where he was baptized, received his first Holy Communion and was confirmed. As a child, he was very playful, mischievous, always climbing trees and swimming in the Cooks Creek. Brian lived in Winnipeg for several years, but his love of the land led him to a small farm in Lorette. He loved the farm and all the harvest it produced. He was employed by CNR, until his retirement in 1992. He was an active member at St. Andrew Bobola Church. Through the years he attended many spiritual conferences that enriched his life. He gave generously to charities. He enjoyed challenging discussions with the family about the meaning of life. Brian will be affectionately missed by his brother Joe; sisters, Paulina Batchellor and Stella Skowron; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Stanley; siblings, Edward, Stanley Jr., Walter, Lucy, Carol, Frances, Edgar and Mary. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 30, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road. Interment will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens with a gathering to follow in the Heritage Room. Pallbearers will be Stewart Skowron, Gary Batchellor, Harvey Levin, Roger Batchellor, Terry Ball and Angie Trainor. In lieu of flowers, you can commit to doing random works of kindness. Then The King will say, "Come you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the World".
