WILLIAM (BILL) MARTIN PATTERSON Peacefully, on Tuesday, January 27, 2004, Bill died at the Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 74 years. Remaining to cherish his memory is his wife, Lovie, of 50 years of marriage; one uncle and four cousins. Bill was predeceased by his mother Martha; Aunt Inga; as well as many close friends. Bill had joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1950. During this time, Bill and Lovie were stationed in Europe for the most part of Bills Air Force career. The balance was spent at various bases throughout Canada. He had acquired the rank of MWO and retired in 1978. Upon retiring from the forces, he accepted employment at Eatons Warehouse and was there for 11 years. Bill and Lovie enjoyed travelling to Vegas and other destinations. A celebration of Bills life will be held on Thursday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the "Tank Room" at the Charleswood Legion Branch No. 100, 6003 Roblin Blvd., with Rev. George Davidson officiating. Special thanks to Dr. Patel and all the staff at the Seven Oaks General Hospital for the care and compassion they provided for Bill.
