CECIL E. ROSGER August 12, 1921 - January 27, 2004 It is with great sorrow and much sadness that on Tuesday January 27, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre, we announce that our loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather entered into his eternal rest at the age of 82 years. Cecil leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Joan; his children, Jean (Normand), Linda (Carl), Bryon (Dianne), Lorraine (Wayne), Gail (Fred), and Keith (Cindy) his sisters, Beryl and Hildred. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and dear friends. He was predeceased by his son Wesley in 2001 and his sister Shirley. Dad was born in Neepawa on August 12, 1921 and raised in Langruth and Gladstone, MB. Cecil enrolled in the army with PPCLI at an early age and served overseas from 1939 to 1945. While stationed in Brighton, England, he met Joan and they were married on August 29, 1942. They moved to Winnipeg in 1957 where he began a 35 year career working at Building Products. Cecil was a member of Army and Navy Veterans #283 for 47 years and he enjoyed curling, golfing, gardening and especially spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His great sense of humour and numerous stories will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
