JOHN ALEXANDER COOK (JACK) 1928-2004 John Alexander Cook (Jack) suddenly on January 28, 2004 at Health Sciences Centre after a short illness, Dad passed away at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Beatrice and children Don (Sandy) LeMoine, Jacquie (Vince) Murray, and Ian (Tannis) Cook, and grandchildren Vern (Kim), Shannon, Stuart, Courtney, Brittany, Sydney, Rheanna, and Jessee, son-in-law Glenn Soucy and many nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth Cook and stepdaughter Barbara LeMoine and grandson Roderick Soucy. Dad will be forever remembered by his wife and true love for over 50 years Beatrice. Mom and Dad were married for almost 42 years, in those years they raised four wonderful children which gave him nine grandchildren which he adored. Dad worked for CN for 35 years as a Telecommunications technician. Dad enjoyed golf, bowling and other sports. In his retirement years Dad was a Past Master of The Dormer Lodge 151 GRM. AF & AM, Past Principal of Prince Rupert Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, a member of Mount Carmel Preceptory No. 44. Dad belonged to the Khartum Temple, he was a past President of the Oriental Band. A service will be held on Wednesday, February 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Gordon King Memorial United Church, 127 Cobourg Ave. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Concordia and Health Sciences Centre for their care and respect of our husband and father. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or a charity of choice.
