GARY ALVIN SPROULE Gary Alvin Sproule, beloved husband of Kathy passed away suddenly at work on January 28, 2004 at the age of 54 years. Gary was born April 9, 1949 in Winnipeg and lived in the St. James area all his life. On August 2, 1974, he married Kathy McRuer in Boissevain. Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife Kathy; daughters, Angela and Holly; his mother Doris and brother Glenn (Eleanor) sisters, Gail and Patricia (Chris) and numerous nephews and nieces. Gary was predeceased by his father Edward (Bud) Sproule in 1985. Gary was a conductor at CPR since 1974. He spent countless and enjoyable hours with his comrades and friends at St. James Legion No. 4, where he was a member for 31 years. The sound of his voice will be missed but we are sure it will continue to echo in the walls. Gary enjoyed camping, golfing and curling. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m. in The St. James Legion Branch No. 4, 1755 Portage Ave. If friends so desire, donations in Garys memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of MB, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
