Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJANET "EDITH" GRANT Mrs. Janet "Edith" Grant, age 85 years, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2004 at Versa Care. Born in rural Manitoba, she came to Port Arthur to pursue a career in nursing, where she met and married her husband Frank. They lived here and raised their family of three children. She retired to Treherne, MB in 1968 where she served as the United Church organist for many years. Edith returned to Thunder Bay in 2000. She enjoyed painting, quilting, and golfing. Survived by her children, Margaret (Charles) Wilson, Jim Grant and Pete (Linda) Grant; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1963. Memorial funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31 at 3:00 p.m. in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Riverside Cemetery.
