HOWARD (KEITH) LONG On Thursday, January 29, 2004 Keith Long peacefully passed away at Delta Hospital Extended Care Unit, Ladner, B.C. at the age of 81. Keith spent many years in Manitoba working as a teacher, principal and school superintendent in communities across the province. He began working for the federal governments Department of Regional Economic Expansion in Thompson, MB in 1975. He was later transferred to the Winnipeg office before retiring to Victoria in 1989. Keith was predeceased by his wife, Winona and sister, Grace (Vibert). He is survived by daughter Andrea and sons, Ross, Rex (Debbie) and Laird; grandchildren, Robin, Emma, Natasha, Reece and Rory. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 3 at 11:00 a.m. at the Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Road, Ladner, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1212 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6H 3V2.
