DONNA PEARL NUYTTEN It is with deep sorrow, the family announces the death of our wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Donna Pearl Nuytten (nee Smith). She died peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on January 29, 2004. Donna was born in Gretna, MB on July 31, 1928. She graduated from nursing at St. Boniface Hospital in 1949 where she worked until she retired in 1993. Donna married Victor in 1950 and her life centered around her family. She is survived by her three children, Donna (Garry) Iwankow, Debbie (Brian) Lynch, Patricia (Len) Bernas; her 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Ethel Nickel of Lloydminister, SK, Marjorie (Howard) Bennett of Carman, MB; two brothers, Gordon (Sharon) Smith of Regina and Roy (Nancy) Smith of Gretna, MB; two aunts, Ruth Whitford and Margaret Batchelor and seven sister and brothers-in-law. The family would like to thank the staff on 5A at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and kindness. A memorial service celebrating Donnas life will be held on Tuesday, February 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. Interment will be held at a later date.
