ANGULLA AGNES TKACH (nee FEDIUK)
Peacefully, on Friday, January 30, 2004, with her family by her side, Angulla passed away at the age of 68 years.
Remaining to cherish her memory is her husband Peter of 46 years of marriage; daughters, Judy (Lloyd), Geraldine (Johnny) and Darlene; grandchildren, Nicole and Trevor Stykalo, Kyle and Andrew Alton; mother Mary; brothers, Harry (Nellie), Peter (Margaret) and Mike; sister Anne (Pete) sisters-in-law, Shirley, Louise and Sylvia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Angulla was predeceased by her father William; brothers, John, Steve, Alex and Nick and sister Eva.
Angulla was one of eleven children born to Mary and William Fediuk on August 2, 1935. Since birth, she lived on the farm in Weiden, MB until the age of 17. In 1952, she moved to the big city of Winnipeg and went to work for Eatons. Three years later, Angulla met her future husband Peter and in the spring of 1957 they were wed. Together they raised three wonderful daughters, Judy, Geraldine and Darlene. As well as being a full time mother, she continued to work on a part time basis.
In 1977, she began her career with Madison Lodge where she soon became manager. Angulla enjoyed the many people she encountered there and made many life long friends. The past years sparked new interests which were travelling throughout Canada and the U.S., being a member of a bowling league and canvassing for charities. The family spent many summers at various cottages and campgrounds in Manitoba and Ontario. One of her greatest joys was when her grandchildren were born. Baba was very attentive to the babies and loved them with all her heart.
Prayers will be sung on Thursday, February 5 at 7:00 p.m. in Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Ave. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, February 6 at 10:00 a.m. also in the church with Rev. Fr. Mark Gnutel officiating assisted by Sub-Deacon Patrick Firman. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Stykalo, Lloyd Shewchuk, Kyle Alton, Trevor Stykalo, Robert Tkach and Kirk McWilliams. Cross Bearers will be Nicole Stykalo and Andrew Alton.
