Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHELMA ELIZABETH COLEMAN ADLARD (nee CLIFFORD) Thelma Adlard passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2004, at the age of 74 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, James of 51 years of marriage. She is also survived by two children, Doug (Barbara) and Nancy (Paul), and three grandchildren, Bryan, Kevan, and Mitchell. Thelma was predeceased by her parents, George and Minnie; two brothers, Lionel and Norman; and one sister, Joan. Thelma was born in Radville, SK, a small stop on the CNR line. She came to Winnipeg when she was five years of age. Her family was the center of her life. She loved her many hobbies, too numerous to mention, and shared many of them with her sister, Joan. She also enjoyed researching her familys and Jims familys ancestors, gathering volumes of extensive information dating back to the early 19th Century. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 3 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Rev. Peter Douglas will officiate. Friends are invited to join the family to celebrate Thelmas life at Chapel Lawn Reception Centre after the service.
