RONALD PAYJACK 1951-2004 After a long battle with diabetes Ronald passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 52 years, at the Health Sciences Centre. Ronald will be sadly missed by his wife Diane of 24 years; and also his mother Stephanie Payjack; seven brothers and nine sisters and their families; numerous nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law Johanna Olinyk; Dianes two sisters and brothers-in-law; one brother and sister-in-law and their family. Ronald was predeceased by his father Walter; father-in-law Michael Olinyk; brother-in-law Archie Lewis; and two nephews, Christopher and Scott Payjack. Ronald was born in Winnipeg, MB on December 9, 1951 where he met the love of his life Diane. They were married on July 21, 1979. Ronald worked with his dad and brothers whom owned their own construction firm. He also worked at numerous places until his disability. Ronald loved to bowl and despite his disability Ronald loved to work in his yard. He was fussy about his yard which he always kept neat. He also loved his long walks in his wheelchair. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 4 in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jan Pastucha officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. NO FLOWERS PLEASE Donations may be made in Ronalds memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba. The family would like to express special thanks to all the doctors, especially Dr. Rush, Dr. Duerkson, Dr. Embil and Dr. Jeffrey. Also all the nurses and staff on A4, D5 and the Central Dialysis Unit on the 6th floor for all their love and support. "Ronald you will be sadly missed and always remembered."
