WALTER JOSEPH HOCHMAN It is with deep sorrow to announce the sudden passing of our father Walter Hochman on February 1, 2004 at the Beausejour Hospital. He leaves to mourn his four children, Ronald (c.s.v)., Thomas, Jo-Anne (Ken), David (Janet) as well as his grandchildren, Ray-Al, Julien, Mario, Justin and Julie. He also leaves to morn his nieces, Donna Laurin (Claude), Wanda Gembarsky (Steve) and Cecilia Watt (Tim). He was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Joseph Hochman; and by his sister Jean Cook; and his brother in-law Mike. Walter was born and educated in St. Boniface. He worked for CNR, Modern Dairies, Investors Syndicate, Rancho Realty, McKague Sigmar and The Nicolett Inn (his favourite place) until his retirement. He had resided in Lac Du Bonnet and then in Beausejour where he had developed many friendships. Dad has a passion for reading, gardening, music and was a great conversationalist. He curled for several years with the Nicolett Curling Club. Thanks to the Beausejour Hospital staff for their care and compassion for Dads last days. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 10:00 a.m. at the St. Andrews Bobola Roman Catholic Church, 541 Marion St., St. Boniface, MB. Until we meet again "Mr. Wally".
