Her gift of piano playing is one that has been appreciated not only in her church but also at many family gatherings and community functions. Berthe was a woman of profound religious faith. Her belief in God was central to her and sustained her. She was actively involved in volunteer efforts and community service. She will always be remembered for her warm hospitality, her positive outlook, and her love of God, whom she saw and praised in every beautiful sunrise and sunset.
