Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySADIE ZITARUK September 19, 1912 - February 3, 2004 Sadie passed away peacefully in her sleep at Deer Lodge Centre. She is survived by her son Don (Glenna) and their children, Trevor (Amber), and Lesley (Dustin), daughter-in-law Rhea and her children, Lana, and Russ (Kim), and great-grandson Nicolas. She was predeceased by her husband Peter, and sons, Brian, Robert, and Ernie. Sadie was the last surviving child in a family of six sisters and three brothers. She was born and lived the majority of her life in the farming community of Inglis, MB. Her last years were spent at Lions Manor in Winnipeg. Most of all, Mom, Gramma, Great-Gramma, will be remembered as one of the kindest people a anyone could meet. It was practically impossible to leave her place without having some type of food offered to you. She always had something comical to say, even under the most trying circumstances. She loved good times, and accepted bad times as part of life. She was especially proud of all of her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her, especially her immediate family. With her passing, we wish that much of her will be passed on to those of us who remain. A memorial service celebrating Sadies life will be held on Saturday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. with Pastor Glen Krentz officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sadies memory to the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3J 9Z9 or a charity of choice.
