Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELLIE HUZEL (nee MARKO) Peacefully, on February, 4, 2004, surrounded by her family, Nellie, our dear mother, passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Nellie is survived by her daughters, Betty (Pete) Cimarno and Shirley Marchinko; grandchildren, Peter (Betty), Judy, Darrell (Dawn) and Shelley; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Kay Yarycki and Eva Nazar. She was predeceased by her husband Alex; daughter Pauline; parents Harry and Annie Marko; one brother and six sisters. Nellie was born on October 13, 1917, in Prawda, MB. Nellie and Alex lived in Winnipeg most of their married life where she was employed by the City of Winnipeg Municipal Hospital, retiring in 1981. Nellie was a very kind and generous person who enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends. Prayers will be held on Sunday, February 8 at 7:00 p.m at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, February 9 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank Dr. Nepon, Dr. Finlayson, the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital and her homecare workers for all their care and compassion. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Nellies memory to The Arthritis Society, 105 - 386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6. You will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten. Rest in Peace.
