Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEOLA MAY FERGUSON The last of the Rushes On Wednesday, February 4, 2004, after a brief illness, Leola May Ferguson, age 88, passed away in her sleep. Leola is survived by her husband Thomas; daughters, Betty (Ed) and Margaret (Desmond) grandchildren, Chris (Indy) and Neil (Melina) great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Amber. Also missing her are her nieces and nephew and their families as well as her many friends. Leola (Lee) was born on October 29, 1915 in Lyleton, MB. She was one of six children and the second daughter of Fred and Susan Rush. After high school, Lee undertook a number of different careers, including CP Rail and St. Boniface Hospital as a Registered Nurses Aide, until her early retirement in 1976. She also volunteered with Age and Opportunity. Lee enjoyed her full life, her family, grandchildren and recently two great-granddaughters and the many friends she made over the years. She had a great sense of humour, a twinkle in her eye, ready for a good laugh or a joke. If you ever needed anything, she was always willing to share. There was always a smile for anyone she met, friend or stranger. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to extend their thanks to Marty, Cindy and all the staff in Unit 5 at Seven Oaks Hospital.
