Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySYLVA BERYL HALL (nee: RAMSAY) Sylva Beryl, beloved wife of the late Harry Lorne Hall of Red Deer, AB, slipped away peacefully at the Red Deer Nursing Home on February 3, 2004, at the age of 80 years. Beryl is the loving mother of: Carmen Henkel of Lacombe, AB, Geordie (Debbie) Florence of Red Deer, AB, Jean (Bob) Shaw of Goldbridge, BC, Darlene (Trevor) Cooper of Omaha, NE and Derek Hall of Squamish, BC; loving grandmother of: Jayson Henkel (Julie Neilson) of Edmonton, AB, Lorne Henkel of Sylvan Lake, AB, Tyler Florence of Red Deer, AB and Shyla Florence of Red Deer, AB. She is also survived by her brother Garth Ramsay; special friends, Marjorie and Lorne Peters; as well as many relatives and friends. Beryl was predeceased by her husband Harry Lorne; her parents, Carmen Sylva and Elba Clair Ramsay and her brother Fredrick Ramsay. Beryl was born in the rural municipality of Arthur, MB where she grew up on the family farm. She attended University of MB, Guelph College, and University of BC and received her Bachelor of Science. She then taught in high school, Home Economics, Science and Math. Beryl enjoyed many hobbies such as gardening, sewing, baking and playing crib. Memorial service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on Friday, February 6 at 11:00 a.m. with graveside service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alzheimers Society of Calgary (201, 222 - 58 Avenue SW, Calgary, AB, T2H 2S3).
