ANNA CATHERINE BUYDENS (nee VASSART) 1909 - 2004 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing of Anna Catherine Buydens (nee Vassart) aged 94 years of Holland, MB, on Thursday, February 5, 2004 at the Notre Dame Hospital, Notre Dame, MB, beloved wife of the late Theophile Buydens. Anna leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her loving memory, three step-children, Lawrence (Mariette) Buydens, Laurette (Maurice) DeBaets, and Sharon (Richard) Deveson; five step-grandchildren, Lisa Buydens (Ryan Allain), Jo-Ann (Gerry) Labossiere, Bryan (Shannon) DeBaets, Lori DeBaets, and Patti DeBaets (Joe Dyck) six step-great-grandchildren, Kristen, Nikki, and Jesse Labossiere, Justin, Brett, and Vanessa DeBaets; two sisters, Lucy Destoop and Marie Lavoi and by four sisters-in-law, Julia Lecoq, Cecile, Susan and Josephine Vassart; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Theophile Buydens; parents, Joseph and Leona Vassart (nee Sierens) one sister Edna Williams and by four brothers, Desire, Charles, August, and Victor Vassart. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated from the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, Holland, MB on Saturday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the St. John Berchmans Parish Cemetery.
