JAMES CLAYDON August 1, 1959 - February 3, 2004 Suddenly on February 3, 2004, while doing what he loved best, playing hockey, our beloved son, husband, father, son-in-law, nephew, uncle, grandson left us to join his grandfather, Gurth Claydon and father-in-law Ernest Wirth. A loving and dedicated husband to Vicki; father to Marilyn, Vanessa and Ryan. He is also missed by his parents, Lynne and Norman Claydon; brother Bruce (Rennee) sister, Shelly (Todd Ellis) mother-in-law, Mary Wirth; grandparents, Ardella Claydon, Mollie and James Carey and numerous aunts, uncles and friends. James was born in Port Arthur and grew up in Windsor Park, attending Frontenac, Gen. Vanier, Beliveau, Windsor Park Collegiate and then on to R.R.C.C. for the Computer Analyst Programmer, graduating in 1981. James last worked for Agriculture Canada and enjoyed the computer department as a database administrator. He was a dedicated employee and rarely missed work. He enjoyed going to the lake, down south to Fargo, the Bombers, Moose, and Goldeyes games. A tribute to the type of man he was, his organs were donated so that someone else may enjoy life. A celebration of James life will be held on Saturday, February 7 at 1:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, No. 1 East at Navin Road with Pastor Ken Turnbull officiating. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedics Service, all "The Guys" with whom he played hockey and the E.R. staff at Victoria Hospital for your patience and thoughtfulness. Also thank you for the many offers of help and condolences. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of ones choice. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematorium Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin, 222-3241
