PATRICIA DIANE JAMIESON (nee MILLER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia on February 4, 2004 surrounded by her family, love, and the thoughts and memories of countless others. Pat was born August 9, 1939 to Alec and Florence Miller in Winnipeg. A vibrant and happy child, she was often referred to as "Patsy", and as an only child, was the light of her parents life. She moved to Transcona at 12 years of age, which was her "home" for all her life. She met Dennis, her soul mate and the love of her life, during her teen years and they married November 22, 1958. Pat was a devoted wife, mother and grandma with a special gift of listening. Left to mourn is her loving husband Dennis; and children, Brenda and Greg, Glenda and Randy, Mark and Kris, and Greg and Lisa. Sadness also fills the hearts of her beloved grandchildren, Stephen, Kristin, Colin, Tara, Mackenzie, Brianne, Alex, and Erin, all of whom adored their grandma (she so dearly loved all her birds) as well as countless friends and relatives. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Alec and Florence; and Dennis parents, Chester and Tillie. The family wishes to express our heartfelt appreciation to all those who provided care to Mom, including Dr. Jerry and all the Health Sciences Centres emergency room staff, the wonderful staff of D4, Dr. Rubinger and Joanne of CancerCare, and the exceptionally compassionate Dr. Czaykowski (we know your wings are tucked in there somewhere). As well, thank you to all our family and friends, near and far, for all the support and love. Thank you Pat, Mom, Grandma, for all the years of love and devotion, laughter and memories. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations would be appreciated to the Winnipeg Humane Society, CancerCare Manitoba, or to a charity of your choice. Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything. Love still stands when all else has fallen. A memorial service for Pat will be held Monday, February 9, 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
