Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGARY PARTRIDGE Peacefully, on February 5, 2004, Gary passed away with his family at his side, at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 58 years. Gary was born on May 2, 1945, in Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his parents, Jim in 1962 and Florence in 1992 and his father-in-law, Elmer McSwain, in 1999. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lee Ann; son Daniel (Sarah) granddaughter Emily and daughter Dana. He also leaves his brother, Richard (Niki) twin sister, Cynthia (Harvey Schmidt) sister Nancy Geoffrey; his mother-in-law Helen McSwain; sister-in-law, Lana (Joe Halldorson), Linda (Barry Hindle) brother-in-law, Mark McSwain (Karen) and numerous nieces and nephews. Following in the family footsteps, Gary worked in the plumbing and heating business with Western Supplies and Wolseley (Westburne). During this time he established many friendships with colleagues and business associates. He was a kind, gentle and thoughtful person, who always put his family first. He enjoyed his time at the cottage at Sandy Hook. Many gatherings were held at the lake and many fond memories will remain in our hearts and minds forever. Gary will be remembered for his avid interest in sports. He enjoyed watching a range of sporting activities which included hockey, football, tennis, golf and curling. He cherished the little time that he had with his precious granddaughter, Emily. The family wishes to extend a sincere "Thank You" to Anne Sazbo (co-ordinator of the Lung Transplant Team at the Health Sciences Centre) and Dr. Kepron. A celebration of Garys life will take place on Wednesday, February 11 at 10:00 a.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P6 or a charity of your choice.
