RICHARD HENRY PENNER January 26, 1947 - January 13, 2004 On Tuesday, January 13, 2004, Richard tragically passed away in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, unto his heavenly reward. Richard was born January 26, 1947 to Peter and Olga Penner in Winnipeg, MB. Richard gave his heart in marriage to Ann Janzen August 21, 1971. Richard is survived by his loving wife Ann; two daughters, Betty-Anne and husband Matthew Siebert, Rebecca and husband Dennis Warkentine; one son Daniel and wife Lorilee Penner, all of Winnipeg. He is also survived by his mother Olga Penner, Winnipeg; two brothers, Calvin (Ruth) Penner, Herbert, SK, Henry (Sally) Penner, England; three sisters, Martha (Russel) Penner, Steinbach, Leona Penner, Edmonton, AB, Viola Epp, Winnipeg. He is also survived by his in-laws, Jacob and Agatha Janzen; Anns siblings: five brothers and two sisters and their spouses; many nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Richard was predeceased by his father Peter Penner in March 1995 and one sister Elsie in infancy. A memorial service will be held on February 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church at the corner of Springfield and Gateway Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Richard Penner to a "Memorial Fund" in care of MBMSI, 2-169 Riverton Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2L 2E5.
