Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUISE SINGLE (nee KREUTZER) Born on July 22, 1916 in Tupper, MB, Louise peacefully passed away at Grace Hospital on Wednesday, February 4, 2004. On February 23, 1942, Louise was united in marriage with William Single, deceased on August 30, 1978. Louise was also predeceased by her parents, Henry and Katherina (Walker) Kreutzer; brothers, John W. and Reinhold Kreutzer; sister Helen Watson; sister-in-law Alvina Kreutzer; at birth a daughter and son; and second husband James Hickey. Louise is survived by her brothers, Leonard (Evelyn) and Walter Kreutzer; sister Betty (Leo) Preusentanz; sisters-in-law, Irene and Gertie Kreutzer; brother-in-law Joe Watson. Louise is also survived by her sons and their wives, Jerry and Ann Single, Hayfield, MN, Warren and Gale Single, Priddis, AB, Derek and Evelyn Single, Winnipeg, Duane and Sherry Single, Okotoks, AB; and 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Louise has always been very hard working and very active in the church and community. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and quilting for Missions. Louise was dedicated to her grandchildren, sharing her skills in baking and cooking (perogie and sausage making). A 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. visitation and 2:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 7 at Hope Lutheran Church, 1400 Pembina Hwy., Fort Garry, with interment at Garry Memorial Park, and reception following at Hope Lutheran Church.
