JOYCE BARCLAY LOBSON (nee GLOVER) March 27, 1934 - February 5, 2004 Knowing the love and support of her family, Joyce passed away peacefully on February 5, 2004. Left to cherish Joyces memory are her husband of 49 years Arthur; her three sons, Brent (Shona) of Kelowna, BC, Scott (Jill), Cam (Linda) sister Audrey (Ted) of Calgary; her cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Reid, Ryan and Dana; her niece Lee and nephews, Larry and Lyle in Kitimat, BC. She will also be sadly missed by her close friend Sylvia Elliott. Joyce was predeceased by her father Roy Glover, mother Elizabeth Friesen and brother Lloyd Glover. Joyce was born and raised in Winnipeg. She spent 19 years as a Postal Clerk at Lance Pharmacy and Shoppers Drug Mart before retiring happily in 1984. Bubbly and friendly, Joyce ("The Juice") loved to laugh and always enjoyed a good joke. More than anything she loved spending time with her family and those special Sunday dinners. A great organizer and planner who loved to help out with everything, you could count on Joyce to be there when you needed her. She always put others before herself, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Unique in all her endeavours, Joyce touched the hearts of everyone she knew and will be sadly missed. The family wishes to thank the staff on the 5th floor of Victoria Hospital. A special thank you to Linda, James and Frank for all their kindness, comfort and help. In accordance with Joyces wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11 at the Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyces memory to Canadian Diabetes or the Faith Lutheran Church Fund.
