CLAIRE DOROTHY WEXLER Peacefully in Winnipeg at the Sharon Home with her granddaughter at her side, Claire at the age of 96 passed away. Left to cherish her blessed memory are her sons Gerald (Miriam), Gordon (Joyce) grandchildren, Terri (Brad), Brenlea (Jeff), Rhonda (Darcy), Jason (Zenaida) and Ryan. She will be truly missed by her six great-grandchildren; her sister Lil Cohen; sister-in-laws Bella Schneider (Florida) and Anne Wexler (Montreal). She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Charlie. Claire and her husband Charlie were owners of Wexlers Furniture. Claire was very active in the community as Past President of the Queen Esther Chapter of Hadassah-Wizo and the Hebrew Fraternal Lodge. Claire was revered and loved by all who knew her. The love that she gave her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will remain with them forever. Special thank you to Dr. Gorski, staff at the Sharon home and her dedicated companions Jeannie and Lydia. Special thank you to Rabbi Rose for his caring support. Funeral services were held on February 1 at the Etz Chayim Synagogue. Pallbearers were Alvin Wexler, Jason and Ryan Wexler, Brad Minuk, Avrum Senensky and Bernie Lang. Donations can be made to the Charles and Claire Wexler Fund at the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba, Hadassah-Wizo or the Sharon Home. With aching hearts we refuse to say good-bye to you.
