ANNIE EDITH ZELENISKY (STUTSKY) On January 31, 2004, at the Maples Personal Care Home, Annie passed away in her 98th year. Surviving her are her children, Mary Ann Sedo and Victor Stutsky; as well as five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and her sister Mary Skibo. Annie was born to Julia and John Stec on March 29, 1906, in Winnipeg, MB. She moved with her parents to Frazerwood, MB, as a small child. In her teen years she moved to Winnipeg Beach to be employed at the then Lake Park Hotel. She married her childrens father, August Stutsky, in 1925 and lived in Winnipeg Beach until his passing in 1942. She then moved to Winnipeg, where she was employed at the Royal Alexandra Hotel until it closed and then at the Fort Garry Hotel until her retirement. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Lena; her brother Carl; son-in-law Jack Sedo; great-grandson Michael Sedo; and her husband from her second marriage William Zelenisky. Her daughter would like to thank the nursing staff, care workers and activity girls on #1 East of the Maples Personal Care home for the care, concern and interest they have given her mother during her residence. Cremation has taken place. Service and burial will take place at a later date. If desired a donation may be made in her memory to the Maples Personal Care Home (Sunshine Fund).
