Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPEARL STEFANYSHYN (nee PORHOWNIK) Peacefully on February 8, 2004, Pearl passed away at the Lions Manor Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. Pearl was born and raised in Gonor, MB and had resided in Toronto for 58 years. She returned to Manitoba in February 2000 to be close to her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1973; two brothers, John and Joe; and sister Annie Stefanyshyn. Left surviving are nephews, Peter (Jean) Stefanyshyn and Raymond (Betty), Lawrence (Carolyn), Dennis and Jack Porhownik; nieces, Marg (Bill) Hlady, Yvonne (Peter) Frisch, Judy (Sandy) Rekrut and Darlene (Dennis) Zabogruski; a sister-in-law Katherine Stefanyshyn and a very good friend and neighbour in Toronto, Audrey Halpenny. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 13 at 11:00 a.m. in the Little Britain United Church, Little Britain, MB with Rev. Christine Bridgett officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lions Manor in Winnipeg or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff at Lions Manor for all the care and support over the years. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
