TOM FORTIN 1936 - 2004 On his final hunt, Tom Fortin was called home on Saturday, February 7, 2004 at the age of 67 years. Tom will be forever remembered by his wife Judi, and children, Mary and Amy; former wife Virginia and children, Linda (Maarten), Eric, Keith (Evelyn) and Mark (Colleen) nine grandchildren; sisters, Marie Oman, Betty Settee, Roberta Rhodes and Alice Fortin-Hamm; brothers, Wilfred and Robert; special aunt Betsy Anderson; and numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Henri and Mary Fortin; and his sister Eva. Tom was a bush pilot, trapper and road builder who gave of himself. For those who knew him, his laughter and encouragement have left a legacy to follow. Tom loved his children dearly and they were first in his life. Services will be held at Grace Bible Church, 1910 Mountain Rd., Dauphin on Friday, February 13. Viewing will take place at 11:30 a.m. with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery, Dauphin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northern Canada Evangelical Mission Inc., Box 3030 Prince Albert, SK, S6V 7V4 or to The Gideons International In Canada, 501 Imperial Rd.
