Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARLENE LOUISE ELIZABETH BLAKE-MAIN (nee LOGAN) Darlene, daughter of the late George and Violet Blake, passed away suddenly at 9:40 p.m. on February 10, 2004, at the St. Boniface Hospital, with her family by her side. She was deeply loved by her adoptive parents, Barbara Lillian and the late Dwight Leonard Main. She was gently cared for as a baby and in infant years by her "grandma" Babs Haldorson and was loved by Paul, Bob and Larry Haldorson and the late Carol Ray, including niece Disa and nephews, Kelby and Michael. She will also be mourned by the Ray family, David, Barbara, John, Heather, Susan, Karen and Adam. Darlene was born June 13, 1955 in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her sister Diane in 1997. She is survived by her brothers, Jack (Mariette), Harry (Marlene) and Phillip (Margaret) Blake. Nieces, Brenda, Debbie, Nancy, Shirley, Charlene, Amanda, Rebecca, Madeleine and Glenda. Nephews, Travis, Bradley, Tyler and Jeffrey. Love and support during her most difficult time was given by her beloved coworkers and friends at the St. Vital Shopping Centre Food Court. The love and support shown by her dear friends, Allan Patterson and Edwin Liskie was deeply appreciated. Darlene had many happy memories of her life in Ottawa from 1967 to 1977 and her years spent in Vancouver, Red Deer and Calgary. Darlene, rest in the arms of the loved ones gone before you. We, your family, will miss your smile until we meet again. Donations in memory of Darlene may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. with viewing one half hour prior to service. Pastor Jim Poirier officiating.
