Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJANE (JEAN) CUMMER June 1921 - February 2004 With great sadness the family announces that Jean passed away February 9, 2004 at the Poseidon Care Centre. She was predeceased by her husband, Arley, April 2000. Left to treasure her memory are her daughters, Corinne Patrick (John), Margaret Fair (Cameron) granddaughters, Dawn Haddad, Janaleen and Charleen Fair; great-granddaughter McKayla Fair and sister Georgie Shaw. Jean was born in Edinburgh, Scotland where she met Arley during the Second World War. They were married in Edinburgh on May 4, 1945. After the war they returned to Canada and farmed around Roseisle, MB. They farmed for several years before moving to Brandon in 1956. In 1997 they moved from Brandon to Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and health care aids at Poseidon Care Centre for their outstanding kindness and compassion. At Jeans request cremation will take place and no formal service will be held. Burial will take place at the Brandon Cemetery in early summer. She will be forever missed.
