JANETTE C. ROBERTS (nee TAYLOR) February 20, 1929 - February 10, 2004 The family of Janette is deeply saddened to announce her sudden passing, after a brief illness, at Seven Oaks General Hospital in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Frank; mother Esther; father Edward; brothers, Edward, George and Ivan; sisters, Genevieve, Marjorie and Ann (Coles-Black). Janette will be sorely missed and so lovingly remembered by her daughter Shirley Anne Piche; grandson Kristopher; sisters, Ellen Olafson, Loretta Spence and brother Jim Taylor. She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was the most wonderful, kind, gentle, loving, tolerant mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was always willing to do her utmost to help family and friends in any way she was able. She enjoyed doing volunteer work, playing bingo, travelling on bus trips and the many coffee chats with the people at her apartment block. Our loving memories of her will be forever cherished. "One more angel walks amongst us" The family wishes to thank the emergency staff and the I.C.U. at the Seven Oaks General Hospital for all their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice. According to Moms wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk, with Rev. Peter Cain officiating. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
