ANNIE SOKOLIWSKY Peacefully on February 11, 2004, Annie passed away at the Luther Home at the age of 81 years. Annie is survived her brother Bill (Betty) daughter -in-law Maria; four grandsons; many nephews and nieces; sister-in-law Mary; brother-in-law John (Mary) and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Peter and two sons, Michael and Bill. Annie was born on December 20, 1922 on a farm in Gardenton, MB. She came to Winnipeg in 1956 and starting at Olympic/ Sportswear factory. Annie retired in 1987 enabling her to spend more time with her grandchildren. She loved gardening, cross-stitch, reading and keeping up with the news. Prayers will be held on Friday, February 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 14 at 10:00 a.m. also at the chapel. Interment to follow in St. Michael s Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Gardenton, MB. The family would like to thank the staff and co-workers of the Luther Home for all their care and support.
