Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTONINA SZAJER (1902 - 2004) Peacefully on February 10, 2004, surrounded by her family, Antonina Szajer passed away. She leaves to mourn her son Ted and daughter Jadwiga Solarczyk, both of Winnipeg and her stepson Bronislaw of Poland. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Diane (Bert), Andy (Leslie), and Johnny (Meghan) great-grandchildren, Devon, Josh, Abbie, Draven and Ashley of Winnipeg; and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Poland. She was predeceased by her husband Franciszek (1958) and her stepchildren, Edward, Helena, and Henryk; son-in-law Ted; and daughters-in-law, Mila and Helena. She was born in Poland on February 19, 1902. Antonina dedicated her life to her six children, she married a widower with four young children and later had two of her own. In 1974, she moved to Winnipeg where she lived with her daughter and son. She enjoyed the company of her family and always looked forward to seeing her great-grandchildren. Antonina left a legacy of glowing smiles, great sense of humour, and life lessons to her loved ones that will enrich the lives of generations to come. Her spirit is in the hands of the Lord and her love will forever remain in our hearts. The family would like to thank Dr. Kremel and her home care workers for all their care and compassion. Prayers will be held on Thursday, February 12 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 13 at 10:30 a.m. Holy Ghost Church Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
