DR. MINOR KEITH WILSON BA, MBA, DBA Passed away from pneumonia on February 10, 2004 in Antigua, West Indies. He leaves to mourn his wife of 47 years, Victoria (Vicky) nee Szobolics; son Keith and wife Kristen and step-grandson Aaron Lemoine. He also leaves to mourn his brother Cyrus Clarke Wilson, wife Judith of Johns Island, South Carolina; step-sister Patricia OBrien of Potomac Maryland; and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and the U.S.A. He was predeceased by his father Judge Minor Keith Wilson of Chevy Chase, Maryland and mother Dejean Clarke Wilson of Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Wilson was born on July 24, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Case Western Reserve University where he was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. He graduated from Ohio State University with a BA in Philosophy and Indiana University with a Masters of Business Administration and Doctorate in Business Administration. He served on the Submarine the USS Diodon during the Korean war. Dr. Wilson was a retired professor of marketing at the University of Manitoba, Asper School of Business. He is still fondly remembered by some students as "Coach" for his participation in the Commerce intermural hockey teams. He is a past president of the Kinsmen Reh-fit Centre. A memorial service will be held in Montserrat, British West Indies this month and another in Winnipeg, Manitoba in late April. Donations in his memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation and the University of Manitoba.
