NORMA VIVIAN BARKLEY (nee PETERSON) Peacefully, after a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Norma at the Concordia Hospital on Friday, February 6, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Remaining to cherish her memory are her three children; daughter Norma Jean (Roy) sons, Patrick and Timothy; grandchildren, Karen (Brian), Sandy (Darren), Christopher, Katelin and Kasey; great-grandson Andrew; and brother Allan (Mary). She was predeceased by her husband George and her brother Raymond (Muriel). Norma was born on February 15, 1923 in Port Arthur (Thunder Bay), ON. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Norma enjoyed nature and had a smile and a kind word for all. In compliance with Normas wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Our family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion during Normas last days. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Normas memory may be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. Thank you, Mom, You are an inspiration to us. WOJCIKS ALL BELIEFS & FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
