ANITA CARRIERE Peacefully, on February 12, 2004, Anita Carriere, aged 99 years, passed away at the Tache Centre in St. Boniface, MB. Anita was predeceased by her husband Adelard; her daughter Gilberte; sisters, Bertha, Antoinette and Lucette; brothers, Frank, Raphael and Horace; parents Marie Anne (Pelland) and Maxime Beauchemin; and her son-in-law Bill Wise. Anita will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Jeannine (Calgary, AB), Sylvia, Romeo and his wife Wendy, Marius and his wife Jeannette; grandchildren, Nicole (Stephen), Ken (Erin), Chris (Colette), Monique (Ernie), Lynn (John), Louise (John), Lisa (Sean), Dan (Shannon) and 11 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Berthe Riggs; and son-in-law Joe Holland. In accordance with Anitas wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be celebrated at a later date. Many thanks to the nurses and support staff at the St. Boniface Hospital and the Tache Centre who, with their compassion and kindness, made Anitas stay as comfortable and as pleasant as possible.
