WALTER KARL MacLAREN Peacefully, on Monday, February 9, 2004, after a brief stay at the Riverview Health Centre, Karl passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 64 years. Karl was predeceased by his dad, Robert Kenneth MacLaren, he is survived by his loving mother, Alice; his brothers, Brian (Anne) of Winnipeg and Jim (Carol) of Calgary and by his nieces, Karen (Chris) Kauenhofen and Jeanne of Winnipeg. As a Fort Garry raised youngster, Karl was most active in baseball and hockey before he began his career in surveying and water works. In accordance with Karls wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Special thanks are extended to Lynn and her co-workers at Regional Home Care, as well as the staffs at Riverview and St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Units for their compassion, comfort and care during Karls time of need.
