OLIVE MAY PROCHERA (nee TENEYCKE) Olive passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and May and her brothers, Albert, Herbert, Floyd, Philip and Wesley; sister May and her son Raymond Prochera. She is survived by her husband Walter; her daughter Karen du Bourg (Paul) sons, Alan and Stanley (Jean Lekopoy) grandchildren, Pamela, Michael and Jason, Karsten, Austin, Jennifer (Mike), Joelle and Tiffany; daughters-in-law, Janis and Barbara; sister Alice Anderson of Victoria, BC and many nieces, nephews and friends, who will lovingly remember her. Olive was an active member of CWL, a life member of both St. John Cantius Fraternal Aid Society and Canadian Polish Athletic Club. She retired from teaching after 25 years with Winnipeg School Division #1, where she enjoyed working with young children. The family would like to thank the staff on D4 and D5 of the HSC for their care and compassion. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 17 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Ave. with Rev. Fr. Henryk Uczniak officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Olives memory to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
