VERNA RIDDELL (nee DEZALL) Verna Riddell wife of D. Bruce Riddell of Winnipeg. Born 1926 at Milly, SK, died at Winnipeg, February 11, 2004. Verna lived in Gladstone, Brandon and Emerson prior to moving to Winnipeg. She taught primary grade school in Gladstone and later spent many years working with T. Eaton Company in Winnipeg. Verna was predeceased by her brothers, Doug and Gordon; her sister Marg and her daughter Kathie. Verna is survived by her husband Bruce; sons, John and Ken; five grandchildren and her sisters, Mary Chandler of Gladstone and Betty Pritchett of Portage La Prairie. Memorial will be held at Thomson Funeral Chapel, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16.
