MACKENZIE SOBIE Peacefully at his home, Mackenzie Sobie passed away on February 10, 2004 after a valiant struggle with cancer, at the age of 15. In his too short life, he touched everyone he met, in only the way Mac could. He made us laugh, cry, and cherish life for what it is. Special. Mac is an inspiration for us all, and his life should be considered a lesson for those he left behind. Mac, being the strong kid that he was, always shared a laugh, smile, or smirk with anyone who was near. Mac knows he is loved dearly and shares his love every day! A special thanks to the people at the Stony Plain Central School. They were a part of Macs family. Thank you to the staff at Stollery Childrens Hospital during Macs time there. You are special people and will forever be appreciated. Mac leaves behind his mother Hazel, father Duane, his best friend and brother Spencer, grandmas and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Thank you Mac for the lessons you taught us, and the lessons we continue to learn. A memorial service will be held at John Black Memorial United Church, 898 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg at 11:00 a.m., February 21.
