ERIC PETTITT 1921-2004 With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather (BOP), Eric Pettitt on Friday, February 13, 2004 at the age of 82 years. Lovingly remembered by Connie (Klapp), his wife of 61 years; his children, Sandra (Rick), Terry (Barb) grandchildren Kara, Chad, Neil and Scott. Sister in-law Millie King; brothers-in-law, George Klapp (Eleanor), Allan Klapp, Jack Klapp (Elly), and Roy Kerr; as well as numurous nieces and nephews. Eric was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Mabel; brothers, Herb and Barney; sisters, Christina and Dorothy. Eric was born in Arden and moved to Neepawa in his early teens. After the war Eric and Connie returned to Neepawa where until his death Eric was very involved in his community and church. As a lifetime member of the United Church, Eric recently celebrated his 65th year with the choir. Eric was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and the Royal Canadian Legion. Eric was a very caring and sensitive person who was everybodys friend. He believed you are your "Brothers Keeper". In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Erics memory to Neepawa District Palliative Care Service, Box 1240, ROJ 1HO, Neepawa, MB or World Vision Canada. A memorial service will be held for Eric at Neepawa United Church Wednesday, February 18 at 2:00 p.m. There will always be a heartache And often a silent tear But always precious memories Of the days when you were here Whites Funeral Home in care of arrangments.
