Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND LEVESQUE August 8, 1949 - February 14, 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Levesque on February 14, 2004 with his family by his side to comfort him and ease his passing. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife Kathy; daughters, Noelle (Josh) and Lisa; devoted parents, Rene and Rose; caring sister Karen (Grant) numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and family. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Raymond attended St. Marys School, St. Pauls High School and Red River Community College where he received a diploma in Electronic Technology. He continued his education and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering in 1980. His career path led him to Ottawa where he excelled working for the Department of National Defence as a senior engineer. His job allowed him the opportunity to travel to many different countries while attending NATO meetings as a consultant. Rays greatest achievement was the exuberance and joy he took in living his life and extending that to the people around him. He loved a good joke and was able to laugh at himself if the joke was played on him. He enjoyed his family life and took pride in his girls and all of their accomplishments. He would spend endless hours with his girls teaching them to value the good times in life and to pursue their dreams. His "TWO" number one daughters will miss him very much. Our family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff on 6 East at Deer Lodge Centre and to a special nurse Diana, thank you from Noelle and Lisa for guiding them through their most difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association. 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6, in memory of Ray. Friends may come for viewing on Wednesday, February 18 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway.
