MANETTA McLACHLAN GRAMMA MAC A beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years on Saturday, February 14, 2004. Gramma Mac will always be missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Jody (Brian) Flye; granddaughter Tracey and grandson Jay (Alison) her son Glenn (Lois) and grandchildren, Shawn (Tom), Cameron and Randy (Selena) six great-grandchildren; niece Jessie. Mac will be fondly remembered by friends and co-workers as Manager at The Dutch Maid Ice Cream and at Inman Motors Parts Department. Mom was a hard working generous and caring woman whose home was always open and filled with love and laughter. Many relatives, friends and extended family members were sheltered there. She was a member of Knox United Church and Womens Business Club as well as the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 84. Her happiest days were spent at the beach cottage, trimming the trees, manicuring the lawn and planting flower gardens. She tended the yard from morning to sunset, stopping only to eat or go to bingo with her many friends at the lake. Our heartfelt thanks to the Calvary Place staff especially 3 South who cared for Gramma Mac with loving tenderness. Flowers gratefully declined but memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be a tribute to her charitable kindness to all she ever met.
