BERYL MARY WINDER Beryl Mary Winder, with her family by her side, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, February 15, 2004 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Beryl is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Myrtle White; her sister Margaret; and brother-in-law Maurice Stebnicki; her brother Art White; and loving husband Leonard Winder. She will be lovingly missed and forever cherished by her husband Orest Dobinsky; son Bradley Bunio; her daughter Shaunalee and (Doug) Hatton and their children, Nathan and Sheena; daughter Kim and (Ray) Bourdeaud-hui and their children, Meghan and Paige; stepson Dan Dobinsky; brother Ken and (Joanne) White and family; sister Enid and (Willard) Peters and family; sister-in-law Elaine Kiddle, and many nieces and nephews and cherished friends she loved so dearly. Beryl was born July 22, 1933 in Winnipeg and spent much of her early life in western Ontario where she met and married Peter Bunio, the father of her three children. In 1967 Beryl, Peter and family moved from Kenora, ON to Shoal Lake, MB where they ran a successful clothing business until the early eighties. Beryl and Peter separated and Beryl moved to Winnipeg where she met and married Leonard Winder in 1985. Beryls beloved husband Len passed away suddenly in 1997 and after a couple of lonely years Beryl met and married her wonderful husband Orest Dobinsky. Beryl was an active member of the Inner Wheel Club serving as president and most recently as District Chairperson of the St. Boniface, St. Vital District 555. She loved the time spent with her good friends in their Bridge Club, Bible Study group and she had a great passion for golf. She was an adherent of Waverley Fellowship Baptist Church. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to those very special people from the Palliative Care Program whose compassion and care helped us all through this difficult time. "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain." Rev 2:14 Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 18 between 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 19 at 11:00 a.m. in the Waverley Fellowship Baptist Church, 2171 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Beryl Winder to; CancerCare Manitoba, WRHA Palliative Care Program or to the St. Boniface, St. Vital Inner Wheel, District 555.
