HAROLD JOHN WRIGHT 1918 - 2004 Peacefully, on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 Harold Wright passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia (Bob) Wuirch, Sandra (Ken) Barker; son Ronald; grandchildren, Sheri, Janet, Nancy, Chris; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Erma Morrison, Marj Watts, Gladys Dennis; brothers, Howard, Nelson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was born on April 13, 1918 in Oak Lake, MB. As a young man, he left the family farm to reside and work in Winnipeg. He was employed with Canada Wire for many years, retiring in 1984. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce in 1991. They were married in 1951, celebrating 40 years of marriage. Harold was a kind, gentle and caring man who was devoted to his family. He was greatly loved and cast a lasting influence on those who had the good fortune of knowing him. The family would like to thank the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. Also special thanks to Suzette and homecare of WRHA for their excellent care and support. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 21 at 10:00 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Rd. Viewing will be held one half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined.
