DONNA GINGERA Donna Gingera passed away peacefully at the age of 48 years on February 18, 2004 at the Health Science Centre. Left to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 27 years, Erwin; her son Corey; daughters, Tara and Angela. She also leaves to mourn her passing; her father Feliks Kaminski; her sister Teresa (Branko) Carevic; her brothers, Stan Kaminski and John Kaminski (Mary) her in-laws, Helen and John Burdeny; her sister-in-law Diane Graham; her nieces and nephews, Danny and Ryan Carevic, Tammy and Terry (Melissa) Brown; and several other relatives and friends. Donna was born on September 28, 1955 in Winnipeg, MB. She attended Holy Ghost School and graduated from St. Johns High School. From there she met the love of her life, Erwin, whom she married on May 22, 1976. She worked many years at the Winnipeg Taxation Centre until illness set in. She enjoyed her gardening and spending her summers at the cottage. She was also a member of the Catholic Womens League of Canada and the Holy Ghost Fraternal Aid Society, as well as a parishioner of Holy Ghost Church. She was predeceased by her mother Phyllis Kaminski; her father-in-law Walter Gingera; her brother-in-law Ian Graham; her aunt Veronica Wozney; her uncle Joseph Adamiak; and her cousins, Kelly Adamiak and Jamie Kelbough. Thanks to Dr. Bshouty, Ann Szabo, Dr. Czarnecki and Janice, and the nurses on GH6 of HSC for their wonderful care. A special thanks to Frann Martins Da Ponte. Prayers will be held on Friday, February 20 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel,e. 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Av, with an Oblate Father officiating.
