GORDON JOSEPH JONASSON On Monday, February 16, 2004, Gordon Jonasson, passed away at the age of 71 years with his family by his side at his residence in Winnipeg. Surviving to mourn his loss Shirley mother of Norma Anderson (Louis) of Selkirk, Bonnie Tkachyk (Clarence) of Pine Dock, Dennis Jonasson (Janie) of Arborg, Gordon Jonasson (Dawn) of Winnipeg, Kevin Jonasson of Arborg, Karen Jonasson (Darrel) of Winnipeg, Tracey Jonasson (Cecil) of Arborg; Lorraine mother of Cory McKay of Winnipeg; 16 grandchildren, five great-grand-children; brothers, Parmes (Fran) of Winnipeg, Donald (Patricia) of Brandon; numerous nieces and nephews; the many friends he made where ever he went; and special friend Mary Anne Johnston. Gordon was predeceased by his parents; four sisters, Linda, Doreen, Florence, Osk; three brothers, Norman, Walter, Ronald; granddaughter Shannon; and grandson Kyle. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ardal-Geysir Lutheran Church, Arborg. Pastor Trudy Sluth will officiate. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
