Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPEARL KATHLEEN KOTOWICZ With sadness, on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB, Pearl Kotowicz passed away with her family by her side, at the age of 85 years. She was born on November 23, 1918 in St. James. She resided in St. Genevieve, MB, for the past 55 years. Besides working on the farm, she also worked for Homecare, and raised 13 children. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jim Green (Adele), Carol Hardie (Ron), Joan Zastre, Alex (Cecile), Ruth Almey (Marcel), Kathleen Toews (Peter), John (Elaine), Judy Dillon (Frank), Jacquelyn Koch (Garry), Matt (Claine, Lisa and Lee), Faith McNeil (Rio), Cheryl Main and Charlene Kotowicz, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Also a surrogate sister Margaret McCulluch. She was predeceased by her husband Matfel in 1994; one granddaughter Cecilia and one sister Minnie Green. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20 at 10:30 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to two special Home Care givers, Lucille Perin and Lisa St. Vincent, also to Dr. Gordon Dyck and nursing staff at Bethesda Hospital for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pearls memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, or a charity of your choice.
