Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORRAINE ROUTHIER (nee MESSNER) Peacefully at the Lorne Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 17, 2004, Mrs. Lorraine Routhier of Somerset, MB passed away at the age of 67 years. She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband Irenee Routhier; eight children, Michel Routhier (Cheryl), Richard Routhier (Pauline), Rosemarie Watson, Norma Gagnon (Maurice), Marcel Routhier (Kathy), Annette Gagnon, Romeo Routhier and Rene Routhier (Laura) 15 grandchildren, Marc, Daniel, Rebecca, Eric, Justine, Nicole, Robert, Kyle, Troy, Kathleen, Keith, Cindy, Nadine, Chantal and Ashley; and one great-grandchild Brayden. Mom will always be remembered for her love, kindness and generosity. She especially treasured her time with family and friends who also treasured her dearly. Even though mom was suffering through a courageous bout with diabetes, she always had a smile, a quick joke and a loving embrace. We love you mom, wife, sister and memere. May God care for you as you did for us. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Aurise Messner; her brother Gerard Messner; her sister Irene Carriere and by two brothers-in-law, Albert Carriere and Ted Halhead. With respect for Lorraines wishes, viewing will be held on Friday for immediate family and specific invited guests only, with cremation to follow. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre-Dame de La Nativite Roman Catholic Church in Somerset, MB on Saturday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Celestin Malengu Mubaya and Father Gerald Labossiere officiating. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association of Canada (Winnipeg Chapter) and to the Palliative Care Unit in the Lorne Memorial Hospital, P.O.
