LILIAN ELSIE FALLOON (MOXHAM)
Born: Jul 27, 1918
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILIAN ELSIE FALLOON (nee MOXHAM) Lilian Falloon of Foxwarren, MB. On Valentines Day with the sun shining and surrounded by her family our mom entered paradise. She was born on July 27, 1918 in Birtle, MB, the third of five children of George and Ethel Moxham who had emigrated from England. Her early years were spent in Birtle where many of her lifetime friendships were made. Lil entered the work force at a young age working at her fathers garage and then in the Royal Bank at Birtle. She worked for Central Pay in Ottawa during the war. She married Maurice Falloon from Foxwarren on April 7, 1944. After Maurice returned from overseas they settled on the farm and have lived there ever since. Lil had an unquestioning faith in God. She constantly covered all of her family in prayer. Our lives have been blessed because of this. As a family we grieve but, praising God for all our happy time together, we have no regrets having so thoroughly enjoyed our many years together. Maurices assessment that they had a "good run" was indeed an understatement. They would have been married 60 years this April. She has always been the ultimate matriarch taking the keenest interest in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She will live on in our hearts forever. Lil leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband of 59 years, Maurice; her children, Ted (Rose), Mary Lou (Carey) and Linda (John) grandchildren, Chris (Jenn), Jane, James (Amanda), Christine, Jason (Maria), Clayton (Heidi), Brian (Carla), Greta, Peter and Mary (Hans) sister Mickey (Jim) sister-in-law Beryl (Ken) many nieces and nephews and a remarkable array of friends. The funeral service was held in Westminster United Church in Foxwarren on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 with the Rev. Dwight Rutherford officiating. Interment followed in Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers were her six grandsons. Braendle-Bruce Funeral Service was in care of arrangements.
